About
The articulation of the intervention of the Commissions for the Protection of Children and Young People (CPCJ) and the School Groups (AE) with children in situations of danger, raises a set of questions, reflections and challenges, when it is intended to ensure inclusion and well-being. This group is particularly vulnerable. The central purpose of this research project is to understand and characterize the articulation between the CPCJ and the AE, analyze the actions resulting from this partnership and, also, investigate its results in the field of school inclusion of children in situations of danger. The study combines a qualitative approach (interview surveys), which integrates the exploratory pilot project of the first phase; and a quantitative approach (questionnaire surveys) to be carried out in the second phase, nationwide. Focus groups will also be held at the conclusion of the project. Based on the analysis and interpretation of the existing reality, measures will be proposed that contribute to the improvement, in the contexts under study, of the dynamics analyzed, in order to improve the intervention of the CPCJ and AE, and to promote well-being and success school for children in dangerous situations.
