Ets Professora Coordinadora d'Estètica i Educació - Facultat d'Educació / Politècnic de Porto [2000 fins ara], on ensenya des de 1986. Professor visitant en universitats del Brasil, Itàlia i Espanya.

Especialista per els Arts Visuals - Agència Portuguesa per a l'Avaluació de l'Educació Superior A3ES.

Becari de la FCT al projecte "Escriure i veure" - 2000 i 2004.

Destacar els projectes d'investigació: "El [in] visibilitat de les dones en la història de l'art i el pensament "; "L'educació i la formació del públic de l'art contemporani estètic" que integra els programes curatorials Cases-Museu i Museus Nacionals a Portugal, també amb Espanya i el Brasil. Aquests projectes están conectates amb el seu trebal de curadoría i programación cutural.

Membre d'AICA (Portugal). Comissionat per a Portugal - Saló Jeune Création Européenne - Montrouge (FR) de 2002 a 2007.
